Orkney Campsites
The Pickaquoy Centre is open 7 days a week and operates the booking service for the caravan site. The site is situated on the west side of the main town of Kirkwall. Facilities at the camp site are excellent. There is a choice of hard or grass standings.

Ness Point in Stromness has, without doubt, the most breathtaking views of any site in Orkney and is only a 10 minute stroll from local shops, bars and restaurants.
The new Birsay Caravan Site is situated close to the Broch of Birsay, and a short drive from Skara Brae. The site was established at the end of last year as part of the Birsay Outdoor Centre. Although we have not stayed there yet, initial reports are favourable. A car is necessary for this site as the closest shop is about 15 minutes walk.
The Deerness Community Council owned site is a small site which has 4 serviced pitches. Facilities are limited but include toilet and shower facilities. This is more than compensated for by the location. There are many walks and beaches closeby and there is a superb locally owned supermarket in the vicinity.
