Hello and welcome to our site. Orkney Caravan Hire is a cost effective and fun way for a family to holiday in Orkney.

Including site fees it can work out from around Ł33 a day for up to 5 people or Ł6.60* a day per person.

Including site fees, maximum weekly charge works out at around Ł60 per day for up to 5 people or around Ł12** per person.

If you live on the mainland of Orkney and have an appropriate parking area next to your house, why not consider hiring a caravan for your guests. We can provide an adapter which will allow you to provide power to the caravan. This avoids site fees and can make a considerable saving on a weekly hire.

Our caravans are not brand new but are well maintained, clean and fully equipped for your stay in Orkney. They are gas checked and certificated and all electrics are checked on a regular basis.

We can arrange to have the caravans moved to the site of your choice. The 2 main sites in Orkney are at The Pickaquoy Centre in Kirkwall and at Ness Point in the picturesque town of Stromness, with arguably the most outstanding views of any site. New for 2010 is the new caravan site in Birsay on the north western corner of the Orkney mainland and the Community Council owned site in Deerness situated on Orkney's east mainland.

The site in Kirkwall is close to supermarkets and a short walk from the town centre where you will find some lovely local shops and cafes and of course St Magnus Cathedral. Ness Point is a short walk from the local shops, small supermarket and Ferry Terminal. The Birsay site is minutes away from smaller shops by car. The Deerness site is situated close to a local supermarket who also operate as a contact point for the site.

Why not hire a caravan when you are short of room for guests. Caravans sleep 4 in comfort and 5 if you are good friends!

Add the awning to your order and easily add another 6 or more bed spaces.

We have a "no dogs" policy for the caravans, however, should you hire the awning, we can provide dog cages at a modest cost. It is important to note that dogs may not roam untethered inside the awning. (Please check individual sites for their policy on dogs).

It is important to note that the hiring of the pitch of your choice is your responsibility. The cost of hire with us includes delivery and collection of the caravan to your chosen site including set up, demonstration and removal. Pitch hires are payable direct to the site owners.

Firstly, contact us to ensure a caravan is available. The caravan will be held provisionally for you for 24 hours whilst you arrange to book your pitch at the site of your choice. When you confirm your pitch booking to us, we will make arrangements for delivery and set up of the caravan for the agreed time.
